Mesquite 2 Beta 3

Mesquite 2 has various new features and several major changes in interface that we hope will make it easier to use. It compacts windows to tabs of a single window to minimize window proliferation. It also has a new search facility that permits you to look for features and data.

The current release version of Mesquite is 1.12. If you are looking for this officially released version, it is available here. However, we offer the following beta version of Mesquite 2 for testing.

We recommend strongly against publishing results from the beta version without consultation from the authors.

Choose your download according to your operating system (zip, Windows; dmg, Mac OS X, tgz, Linux/etc.). A text file gives installation and running instructions.

You can get access to the latest Mesquite source here. The latest ("active") source is up to date day by day; it is therefore more current that the beta you can download above, but it may also be less stable.

Extra packages

Modules written for previous versions of Mesquite are incompatible with Mesquite 2 beta 3, including modules written for the first beta verson.
