[Mesquitelist] Java crashes with Mesquite

Some of you have reported crashes in which Mesquite simply quits or 
vanishes.  On Windows, a message about an unexpected error may 
appear; on OS X a notice about an application unexpectedly quitting 
may appear.   These crashes reflect bugs in Java itself, not in 
Mesquite.

These crashes are different from the ones in which Mesquite indicates 
an Exception or Error occured and puts up a dialog box.  The crashes 
we'd like to know about here are the ones in which Mesquite 
spontaneously quits.

Could any of you who have such crashes please send me an email?  We 
would like to know how often they happen, and anything you can tell 
us about them.
